NGORONGORO
CRATER
The
Ngorongoro Crater, situated 2.286sq meters above the sea level
is the largest unbroken calderas in the world and is the
second larges extinct crater in the world. Ngorongoro was an
active volcano some 8 million years ago, whose cone collapse
leaving a crater. The crater covers an area of 260sq km and is
surrounded by very steep walls rising 610 meters from the
crater floor, and It is a home to 25,000 large Mammals. And
over half of them are Elephants, Zebra and Wildebeest and one
can find the largest concentration of lions in the area.

Wildlife Lodge
The
lodge is perched on the rim of the crater, offering a breath

in the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, close to the Serengeti
National Park, overlooking Lake Ndutu. The lodge, a charming
resort, has tents and cabin accommodation facilities and is a
strategic base to watch the start of the wildebeest migration
in the months of May and June.
